Colonoscopy

is the endoscopic examination of the large bowel and the distal part of the small bowel with a CCD camera or a fiber optic camera on a flexible tube passed through the anus. It can provide a visual diagnosis (e.g. ulceration, polyps) and grants the opportunity for biopsy or removal of suspected colorectal cancer lesions.

Gastroscopy

We perform the routine procedure to examine the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract. Cancer and other diseases of the stomach, esophagus and small intestines can be detected through this test.

Endoscopy involves examining the inside of a person’s body using an endoscope. An endoscope is a medical device consisting of a long, thin, flexible (or rigid) tube which has a light and a video camera.

Things you need to know!

You cannot drive for 24 hours after receiving sedation.
You may return to normal activities the next day.
Please leave all valuables and jewellery at home.
You must ensure you have a ride home after your procedure.
Please contact the clinic or the endoscopist doctor if you develop severe abdominal pain, vomiting, fever, or excessive bleeding or proceed to the Emergency Room.
You must notify the clinic of any complications or change in medical status arising 10 days from your procedure.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment
